Abstract

In the context of the Universidad del Rosario, as indicated by its Institutional Educational Project (PEI), teaching is considered the most important function of all. This is supported, at the institutional level, in a student-centered approach. This approach privileges active and innovative pedagogies developed within the framework of the principle of "learning to learn" (Universidad del Rosario, 2018, pp. 29-34). In line with this, the Rosario Graduate School of Business or “Rosario GSB”, a unit of the School of Administration focused on high-level postgraduate business training, selected challenge-based learning (CBL) or challenge-based learning (ABR). ) as its fundamental educational model. This chapter gives an account of the foundations, the development and the context of application of this approach in business schools and, in particular, what its implementation has meant within the Rosario GSB.
