Description:

Taking into account the results and achievements obtained by CREA, the University granted, through rectoral decree No. 1264 of July 2013 (Rectoral Decree 1264), the recognition of a research center, attached to the EMCS of the University the rosary. The center is established as an interdisciplinary and translational team for the study and research of AIS and other chronic non-communicable diseases in patients and families, with emphasis on the needs of the country, also developing teaching and outreach activities to the community with a great sense of responsibility, humanism and commitment.

He is in charge of the Center for the Study of Autoimmune Diseases (CREA) Research Group and the Translational Medicine Research Group.

Mission:

The mission of CREA is articulated with the institutional mission by contributing to ethical, humanistic and scientific training through research for the benefit of society, with a maximum sense of responsibility. CREA carries out R&D activities by uniting basic and applied research on chronic non-communicable diseases, especially autoimmune diseases, in search of predictive and prognostic biomarkers for the benefit of patients, society and society. scientific community.
