Methodological guide of business models based on bioeconomy for the valorization of organic waste generated in La Vega, Cundinamarca

Project: Research Project

Project Details

Description

Within the framework of the bioeconomy and with the purpose of contributing to the sustainable management of organic waste, it is necessary to propose alternatives that allow adding value to said waste, while contributing to the generation of environmental and economic benefits and the promotion of employment in rural areas and vulnerable communities. This project aims to formulate a methodological route for the management and development of business models that allow the use of locally available residual biomass in the municipality of La Vega (Cundinamarca), through the design and installation of a pilot anaerobic digestion plant as a exploitation. The transformation routes of the products and by-products of the process will be evaluated to obtain value-added products focused on the generation of bioenergy and agricultural production.
