The seedbed of biomaterials for biomedical applications SyNERGIA, is a research team consolidated at the institutional level between the University of Rosario and the Colombian School of Engineering Julio Garavito, which seeks to promote research and innovation in the development and characterization of multiscale biomaterials for applications such as teranostic platforms, scaffolds for bone regeneration, controlled drug release systems and biosensors.
Research Lines: Biomaterials, Teranotic nanomaterials, Drug release contradicts, Biosensors.
Objectives:
- To create a space for active interdisciplinary interaction that fosters a general interest in the development of research projects in biomaterials with emphasis on biomedical applications.
- To develop research projects related to the design, development, characterization and use of these in biomedical applications.
- To take advantage of the interdisciplinary knowledge of the members of the seedbed to develop applications and teranostic products that improve the conditions of people with pathological states.
- Strengthen in each member the skills related to research development processes in order to achieve group goals.
