Diego Alonso Garcia Ramirez, Dune Valle Jiménez

Research output: Chapter in Book/ReportChapter

Abstract

In the last decades, the discussions around the advances associated to the internet and social media have gained room within the reflection on technology and society. Eventhough throughout the 20th century some authors drew attention to the need to think about the consequences that unlimited techno-scientific development could have on society (Heidegger, 2003; Winner, 1980), in the early years of the 21st century; these discussions have become more visible due to the fact that the information and communication technologies (ICT) permeate all areas of contemporary life.
