Project: Research Project

Project Details

Description

The actions of 64 committees for the eradication of child labour in Colombia were studied at the departmental and capital city levels in 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. An analysis was made of 7,168 data on the actions of the 64 territories during these 6 years.
The data obtained were compared with the data on working children in the territories of action of the committees of the Colombian demographic and health surveys for 2005 and 2010, which is the result of 40,841 children included in the survey in 2005 and 51,496 children included in the 2010 survey.
A survey of 219 actors in the child labour governance regime served to establish the perceived effectiveness of actions derived from collaborative dynamics and to identify collective action beliefs and fundamental political beliefs among the actors.
