The seedbed "Studies on mobile journalism in Colombia" has worked on the analysis of 20 media applications in the country during the first year of activities. Despite the fact that the consumption of information through mobile devices has been growing steadily since 2011, mobile journalism is still a little researched topic in Colombia. For this reason, we intend to conduct fieldwork in the newsrooms of different media outlets outside Bogota, such as the newspapers El País in Cali and El Colombiano in Medellin, to understand the strategies they have in terms of content production for applications. In addition, as was the case this year, the students of the seedbed will participate with communication to disseminate the advances of the research in a national congress and in an international congress. For the development of these activities, funding is needed for the seedbed.
