Analysis of the effects and perspectives of recycler associations as a business strategy for the recovery and reuse of solid waste in the city of Bogotá D.C.

This research seeks to analyze the progress in the formalization of waste pickers taking as a case study three associations of waste pickers in the city of Bogota (eco-alliance and Network of environmental recyclers' organizations "Give me your hand") in order to determine how it has evolved, what are its objectives and processes, the main achievements, challenges and barriers and how public and private sector interventions have impacted them.
