Project: Research Project

Project Details

To commemorate five years of Colombia's peace process, this project aims to understand the new dynamics of ongoing violence in Colombia following the 2016 agreements between the Colombian government and the FARC guerrilla.

After 2016, new localized clashes have emerged, which are no longer linked to the struggle for political power and are now largely defined by organized crime modalities.

Therefore, this project works at the municipal level to investigate how and why organized criminal structures are “spoiling” the country's peace process.
