Resumen

Este capítulo afirma que la acción no violenta corresponde a una dimensión política en la que la sociedad se ha convertido en un magnífico organismo complejo. Además, la acción no violenta corresponde a la fase de mayor complejidad en una organización social. Se proporcionan ejemplos que van desde la ecología hasta la biología de poblaciones, desde la etología hasta la inteligencia de enjambres. Al final, se extraen varias conclusiones que arrojan nuevas luces sobre la comprensión social, cultural y política de nuestro mundo y del futuro previsible. El estudio de la acción no violenta proporciona suficientes argumentos que permiten distinguir entre "política" y "política", es decir, "políticas", hasta el punto de que la política se destaca como una dimensión más alta y más significativa de la experiencia humana, y las políticas se consideran entonces como secundarias o inferiores.
