Resumen

OBJETIVO: Cuantificar la expresión de la Sustancia P (SP) y el péptido relacionado con el gen de la Calcitonina (CGRP) en el ligamento periodontal humano sano de los premolares después de la preparación del conducto radicular con Reciproc Blue, WaveOne Gold, XP EndoShaper y limas de mano. METODOLOGÍA: Se obtuvieron un total de 50 muestras de ligamentos periodontales humanos de premolares mandibulares sanos en los que la extracción fue indicada por razones de ortodoncia. Antes de la extracción, 40 de estos premolares fueron divididos igualmente en cuatro grupos, y los conductos radiculares fueron preparados usando cuatro sistemas diferentes: Reciproc Blue, WaveOne Gold, XP EndoShaper y una técnica de instrumentación manual. Los 10 premolares sanos restantes fueron extraídos sin tratamiento y sirvieron como grupo de control negativo. Se procesaron todas las muestras de ligamentos periodontales, y la SP y la CGRP se midieron mediante radioinmunoensayo.
