Resumen
The paper presents the design and construction of the motor system for a gait retraining equipment. The motor system involves coupling a Slide-skate mechanism to a planetary system consisting of two gears; joined together by two rotation pairs that ensure the successful operation of the couple ensemble. The planetary system was constructed in its simplest technological variant: based on a diameter of the gear pair to obtain a small step (200mm) to facilitate the process of gait retraining in patients with limited locomotion induced by neurological diseases and/or stroke. The coupling allows the regulation of the gait step without changing the gear pairs. The slide performs a similar work of radio-variable crank. The motor system was designed to ensure the continuous regulation of the step within the range of 200 to 450 mm while retrains normal gait without change gear pairs or altering the duration percentage of the two main phases of the human gait cycle.
