Violencias, omisiones y estructuras que enfrentan las personas LGBTI

The starting point for this paper is the interpretation and diagnosis contained in the Report of the Inter-American Commission entitled "Violence against LGBTI Persons". From there, other forms of violence are explicited, among them, institutional violence that originates in the breach of the obligations of respect and guarantee of the rights of these people. In addition, it works on the issue of legislative and conventional omissions and identifies some traditional structures of domination that impede the recognition and protection of the rights of this community.
