Abstract

We report on the synthesis, the characterization and the optical properties of CaS:Eu²⁺/Dy³⁺ nanophosphors. We demonstrate the generation of strong red light emission following NIR excitation of the CaS:Eu²⁺/Dy³⁺ nanophosphors.
