Abstract
Global health requires epistemological decolonization to overcome the dominance of Global North knowledge systems. Scientific collaborations must value local perspectives and promote equity, transparency, and mutualism. Systemic and individual initiatives, such as those in Colombia, demonstrate how to integrate these approaches to build sustainable partnerships and inclusive policies grounded in epistemic justice.
