Its occurrence, which has a differential geographical distribution, has been related to various factors, including: the general living conditions of the population, the existence of organized health programs, the socio-cultural organization of social groups, the modernization of the State, social development and technological advances (Murillo et al., 2008; Profamilia, 2010; Piñeros et al., 2010).
