Abstract

This booklet is a material as a result of the comprehensive intervention program in agreement with the Universidad del Rosario and the Universidad Nacional, focused on strategies that increase physical activity levels, the use of body techniques, emotional regulation and the improvement of attention levels. It also responds to the call for projects that contribute to mitigate the effects generated by the COVID-19 disease in Colombia. It is designed by an interdisciplinary team made up of physiotherapists, physical educators, psychologists and other health professionals interested in contributing to the establishment, improvement or maintenance of healthy lifestyle habits. The participants were 110 children from three educational institutions in the city of Bogota of different socioeconomic levels aged 8 to 10 years old. The intervention program was applied to 73 students, the rest were given recommendations related to their emotional and attentional function and the practice of physical activity.
