Caracterización molecular en niños con trastorno por déficit de atención e hiperactividad

Translated title of the contribution: Molecular profiling in children with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder

Research output: Contribution to Journal › Research Article › peer-review

Abstract

El Trastorno por Déficit de Atención
e Hiperactividad (TDAH), condición común en la
infancia, se caracteriza por síntomas persistentes
de inatención, hiperactividad e impulsividad. Su
prevalencia varía entre 4 y 17%, causando una alta
morbilidad social y educacional. Es una entidad de
origen multifactorial con una heredabilidad del 76%,
por lo que los factores genéticos juegan un papel
fundamental. Se han propuesto como genes candidatos
de susceptibilidad a este desorden, aquellos
involucrados en las vías dopaminérgicas, serotoninérgicas,
así como los implicados en procesos de
neurotransmisión y neuroplasticidad
