Abstract
Paracoccidioidomycosis is an entity of primary pulmonary origin characterized by frequent dissemination to the mucous membranes, pelvis, lymph nodes, lymphatics, adrenal glands and other organs, whose course is usually chronic in adults and acute or subacute in young people or patients with immune system deficiencies.
