Abstract

The Memorias del Agua project allowed us to document and communicate the natural and urban transformations of the Tunjuelo River basin in order to promote processes of community dialogue, participatory co-creation and the use of art as a means of reconnecting with the natural capital of these river border areas, which have problems of insecurity, pollution and neglect that affect the quality of life of the population and the fauna and flora of the basin. In addition, through this publication we want to communicate and visualize future imaginaries of transformation and appropriation of the public spaces and the main natural elements of the locality, such as the Tunjo wetland and the confluence of the Chiguaza creek with the Tunjuelo River in the Meissen neighborhood, and the Codiseño workshop: Revisiting the project reverdecer del Sur on the quarry area of the middle basin of the Tunjuelo River, which were developed in Codesign workshops with communities, actors of the territory and students in the Casa de la Participación of the Tunjuelito locality and in the Museum of Bogota in La Candelaria.
