Abstract
A critical reflection on the architecture ofprevention strategies evidences a link between atypical forms of organizationat work and health and safety. Somehow, this phenomenon manifests itselfthrough labor informality as a predominant form of work in Colombia and in theworld, from which various questions arise, including those related to theproblem of estimating and managing occupational hazards. This book seeks toestablish or identify who or what decides (and based on what objectives andtime frame) if a risk—as such—should be considered or not in the execution of ajob, especially when it is not carried out in a well-delimited or definedoperational framework. Likewise, this work addresses the concepts that must betaken into account in order to integrate individual rules of action, differentways of doing prevention, and notions related to prevention design and programsthat help risk management at work.
