Abstract
Integrative Activities for Systems-based Learning of the Nervous System is a course in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. It presents an opportunity to learn about a complete system in which basic clinical, social, historical, and legal aspects are all necessary for a full and inclusive approach to understanding the system. Using a series of clinical cases to establish consistent principles, instructors share their knowledge in a straightforward and congenial manner that permits our students to navigate an extensive body of fascinating information.
It is not our goal for this book to take the place of other sources of information, however, nor to be the principal text or guidebook for our students. We aim to share knowledge with our students about some of the salient points that come up in the course and to communicate our passion for working with these topics.
