Abstract

Adverse drug reactions are a public health problem and are sometimes attributed to the presence of molecular variants in genes related to drug metabolism. In this study we identified a patient with prolonged awakening episodes after anesthesia. By means of NGS, a current molecular methodology, the causal variants of the phenotype were identified, which allow the establishment of personalized medicine models in her.
