Abstract
This is the second book in a trilogy dedicated to agroecological processes, to the recognition of family and community farming and to the dignified forms of coexistence that are woven from there in Colombia. It seeks to contribute, from a socio-political approach, a social category that enriches in a complementary way the invitation that agroecology makes to understand ecosystemic processes and the importance of revaluing the knowledge and know-how of local communities in order to transform their reality. Gustavo Wilches-Chaux insists that this is an urgent book in these times of great demands where mutual care becomes a priority and the call summons us to re-exist with dignity and harmony. On this occasion, the UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Development presents the joint work between the Institute of Environmental Studies IDEA of the National University and the University of Rosario, which praises these agroecological experiences as exemplary strategies of connectivity and social transformation in the country
