Abstract
A long tradition, which still persists, considers teaching as a demonstration of the teacher's knowledge, and learning as the acquisition of a large amount of information to be memorized by the student (Lujan, 2006). Contrary to the above, the teacher should assume a role more directed towards the organization of information and towards the design and practice of didactic strategies that allow greater participation, independence and responsibility on the part of the student (Joel, 2006).
