Abstract

The last decades have brought various changes in the world of work, movements that range from a global scenario to other more local ones, among which phenomena such as economic globalization, industry 4.0, job insecurity, inclusion and diversity, among other examples, stand out, which have been the source of great changes and transitions in a world that is increasingly connected and interdependent. Linked to the above, the issue of population aging has gained great relevance in recent years; it is a central element that contributes to any of the above examples. For this reason, this text presents an approach to aging at work, taking into account not only some data about the current situation, stereotypes and prejudices, but also some of the existing barriers in the work context.
