Abstract
The Observatory of Self-Medication Behavior (OCAM) is a public-academic resource whose purposes are the definition, classification, measurement, explanation, dissemination and intervention of self-medication behavior, always based on the best scientific evidence available at any given time. It officially started in 2016 as the first (and so far the only) observatory of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Universidad del Rosario.
