Abstract
This article explores the situation that U´wa people’s have lived with regard to the prospecting and exploitation of oil in their territory. For that, it makes an analysis of the juridical and resistance actions that the leaders and members of this community have undertaken in the last fifteen (15) years to oppose to the activities required for this megaproject. They consider that it affects not only their culture, their way of life and their territory but also the blood of earth which according to their cosmovision approach is oil.
