Abstract
As a source of wealth, development, social welfare, and a fundamental right, labor must be at the forefront of any modification or adaptation of a country’s legal system. Hence, focusing on labor law, this book addresses the effects and changes that the Covid-19 pandemic generated and continues generating in Colombia, as well as the social protection of our citizens and the strengthening of social dialogue, collective bargaining, and the institutions and mechanisms of labor relations regarding collective matters. Thus, each chapter in this work presents a specific legal problem with a proper research style and methodology. Based on statistics, figures, comparative law, and administrative or legal norms, they offer diverse analyses and proposals, which may be the starting point for many reflections, even in the post-pandemic period.
