Abstract

The reflections that make up this work are crossed by humanist sensibilities, which find their justification in two realities, namely: to give continuity to the institutional philosophy of the Sergio Arboleda University, specifically to its founding principle of humanism, on the one hand, and to grant to the university world - today immersed in the business logic, the scientometric zeal, the economy of teaching and its cost-benefit model - humanist approaches to education, on the other hand. Humanist approaches that insist that education in general, and the university in particular, regain their authentic and primeval spirit, which consists, in the end, in forming complete human beings, that is, capable of living well in society.
