Abstract
On February 3, 2022 we bid farewell with deep sadness to Dr. Ángela Restrepo Moreno, “la Doctora” as she was called with respect, affection and admiration by all her students, colleagues and contemporaries. The importance of the scientific, academic, pedagogical and human work of Dr. Angela Restrepo and her legacy make her one of the main figures in the history of science in Colombia and her contributions to medical mycology make her a pioneer and a reference in Latin America and worldwide...
