Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the psychometric properties of a scale to measure civic behaviours of workers (cct) valued from the perspective of a group of students. A sample of 102 students from a higher education institution in the Republic of Ecuador participated in the study, which, through a set of items, rated the perceived behaviors of teachers and administrative staff. To determine the validity of the scale content, a confirmatory factor analysis was performed using structural equations using the maximum likelihood estimation method. To calculate the internal consistency of the scale, Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient was calculated. The results show that the validity and reliability of the cct are adequate, so it is concluded that the scale has the qualities to be used in the

context of universities in Ecuador. The conclusions discuss the practical implications of the study
