Abstract

In this paper the design of a density sensor based on piezoelectric crystals is presented. This sensor is used to characterize the density profile inside the settler of a pilot wastewater treatment plant. Although the design is complete, the test face is not finished. Hence, only preliminary results are presented in this paper.
