Abstract
Through the narration of the story of a young Colombian worker, who has developed in a context where social norms and laws constantly have moments of exception, the question is raised about the creation of favorable environments for the development of moral agency (charged with deliberation, affection and moral behavior), committed not only to the formal defense of democratic values, but also to their appropriation. Recognizing the role of context also implies recognizing the implicit operating arrangements that are part of the cultural history of a community, including the shared meanings around ways of understanding and managing conflict and the emotional mediation of the process.
