Abstract

The authors regret that the printed version of the above article contained an error in the statement given regarding the approval given by the human subjects ethics review panel. The correct and final version follows: There is an error in the statement given in the article regarding the approval given by the human subjects ethics review panel. The research was approved by the Comité de Ética en Investigación de la Escuela de Medicina y Ciencias de la Universidad del Rosario (Research Ethics Committee (CEI) of the School of Medicine and Health Science (EMCS), of the Universidad Del Rosario). The work was not approved by the Ethics committee of Escuela Superior de Oftalmología-Instituto Barraquer de América, although that institution and the Universidad Del Rosario both were involved in the development of the research. We apologize for this error and any inconvenience caused by it.
