Abstract

Correction to: Nature Climate Changehttps://doi.org/10.1038/s41558-024-02149-1, published online 21 October 2024. In the version of the article initially published, in the first paragraph, the units were incorrect in the sentence “Fire smoke includes fine particulate matter with a diameter of ≤2.5 μg m–3 (PM2.5)”. This sentence has now been amended to “Fire smoke includes fine particulate matter with a diameter of ≤2.5 μm (PM2.5)” in the HTML and PDF versions of the article.
