Abstract
Arterial hypertension (AHT) substantially increases the risk of heart failure or stroke I. Despite these clear indications, which have greatly helped to understand the etiologies of cardiovascular diseases, the genetics of hypertension remains a mystery, even after several decades of research using the most advanced methods of genetic statistics with large association studies or meta-studies.
