Cine, muerte y estados alterados de conciencia: entre el deseo y el reflejo

The topics presented in this text converge in bioethical and legal conflicts in scenarios such as: critical decisions in emergency scenarios, palliative care, dementia, euthanasia and assisted suicide, altered states of consciousness, and health justice around organ and tissue transplantation. The joint work of students and professors has managed to crystallize a series of topics that address both medical elements, as well as cultural, moral and legal variables around the topics raised, in order to provide the necessary elements to address the complexity of each of these issues, in which the film has been used as a didactic resource that articulates the process of argumentation in each case. We hope that this text can be of use to medical students, physicians, health professionals and all those interested in the deliberation of bioethical problems, since these transcend professional interests and increasingly have an impact on our societies and everyday life.
