Abstract

'Whose Oil in Brazil?' That was the headline of an article published in The Economist newspaper, blaming the oil policy of the Workers Party (PT), during the administration but aiming at eliminating uncertainties, burden and costs associated with litigation. The decision to settle follows several other settlements for individual investor´s actions against the company under security legislation.
