Abstract

The purpose of this report was to evaluate the effectivity of electromiographic biofeedback in the spastic hypertonia in a hemiplegic patient. The external twin muscle was monitorized. The EMG level was used before and offer treatment to assess the spacticity grade and also the modified Ashworth clinical scale was performed; 6 sessions of treatment were administered under the some conditions,- 18 essays were involved in each session, getting to 108 in total. The results show a significative reduction of spastic hypertonia level due to learning by the EMG signal exposition.
