Abstract
This new and renewed edition is the result of an arduous work of an expert group in the area, which is obtained after reviewing all the new books on immunology published in the last two years and the excellent scientific journals of high impact that are published on the subject. Emphasis is placed on the following updates: lymphoid cells of innate immunity, genetic and epigenetic advances related to immunology, importance of microbiome interaction and immune response, advances in therapeutic knowledge and control of abnormalities in lymphocyte signaling pathways, study of new cytokines and chemokines, and their receptors.
