Abstract

How do we achieve that, during their training, students take ownership of their teaching and learning process? The answer would be that teachers should pay special attention to course design, development, and evaluation. In other words, teachers should be able to assume teaching with the responsibility and rigor it requires; however, this task would be hard to achieve without the necessary tools. Thus, this book presents one of them: experiential learning, which seeks to build meaningful experiences for students, based on which context-integrated knowledge acquisition is attempted with the accompaniment of the teacher. Because of this, the present text is versatile and adjusted to the demands faced by higher education institutions in the third decade of the twenty-first century, when new ways of teaching are required. T hus, from the field of management education, this book is expected to contribute with experiences and cases of implementation to a debate that transcends borders and languages, even times and moments.
