Description

Colombia lacks literature with local content on paleontology topics that would enable scientific dissemination and serve as tools for teaching evolution in schools and colleges, showcasing the past history of our biodiversity and its environment. All of this is key to strengthening the appreciation and protection of paleontological heritage and its national and international visibility.

Commitments / Obligations

A. Training products. Strengthen the activities of the Paleontology Seedbed at the Universidad del Rosario as an incubator for future generations of paleontologists in Colombia.

B. Expected new scientific or technological knowledge products. Production of a book for the general public on the fossils of Zapatoca.
