Elections and electoral systems are recurrent themes of both democracy and political science, which require monitoring, systematization and academic reflection, due to the socio-political implications that they have in both participation and political representation. This permanent research is nourished by the special course on political systems and citizen participation, as well as the Observatory of electoral processes OPE.
