The present research seeks to identify sedentary behavior, the level of physical activity and its relationship with some risk factors associated with the appearance of cardiometabolic diseases in a young adult population of a higher education institution in health areas, through a study cross-sectional analytical descriptive type.

CS and PA measurements will be made through self-report and accelerometer questionnaires, as well as associated risk factors such as blood pressure, total cholesterol, triglycerides, blood glucose, waist circumference, body composition and lifestyle.

The result of this research will provide the baseline to generate public health strategies that seek to reduce some risk factors associated with the appearance of cardiometabolic diseases.
