Second phase Colombia in France Geosesthetics laboratory

Project: Research Project

Project Details

Description

The Laboratory of Geoesthetics will be held in Paris during the second half of 2017 as part of the program of the Year France--Colombia. Its main objective is to promote relations and exchanges between professors, researchers, students, artists and heterogeneous audiences from Colombia and France. Therefore, through the creation of a conversational device between Colombian and French academics, the aim is to introduce and position Colombian philosophical thought -still little known in France-, which is going through a moment of great historical relevance for the country and the region after the signing of the Peace Accords. Likewise, the Laboratory of Geoesthetics will also give a special place to the presentation of the philosophical research networks that have been woven in the context of the Colombian situation, which seek to rethink in an original way the relationship between theory and praxis, to dispute and create common sense, in order to articulate and create new forms of "the common".
