Diabetes mellitus is one of the leading causes of mortality worldwide, and is an important contributor to mortality from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease.
Early diagnosis strategies, adequate control associated with physical activity and healthy lifestyles have been shown to prevent the presentation of these outcomes associated with diabetes.
In the world and also in Colombia there is a gap of undiagnosed diabetic patients, and therefore not treated or controlled. research carried out with Novonordisk and the District Health Secretariat.

Commitments / Obligations
A technical report will be delivered that includes the cross-sectional study based on a random sample of the subsidized population of Bogotá and a report of the semi-structured interviews that supported the presence of specific risks of developing diabetes.
