Project Details
Description
Contextual factors have received relatively little attention within the study of organizational behavior, approaching them from an aesthetic perspective constitutes a novel approach. This project proposes to systematically review the scientific knowledge on organizational behavior produced in the field of organizational aesthetics. Secondly, the evidence on contextual factors of organizational behavior in the fashion, cosmetics, design and art industries will be meta-analyzed. Finally, in a third moment, the representations present in music and art of the world of work and organizations in post-industrial society will be explored. The methodological strategies to address the research purposes of this project involve systematic review, meta-analytical techniques, documentary review and discourse analysis. It is expected that the present project will provide relevant knowledge on the development of organizational aesthetics and a better understanding of organizational behavior. The results can be an important input for knowledge transfer aimed at strengthening good management practices and improving business management.
