Description
This project frames medical pluralism in Bogotá in the general context of health and the practices associated with it. It seeks to understand eclectic healing systems such as visits to Josde Gregorio Hernandez's spiritualist centers, the devotion to the Divine Child, and the uses associated with a variety of natural and esoteric products as central elements in the experiences of particular communities of patients. Analyzes the logics of state inscription, allopathic medicine, and church.
