Description
The project called 'LabSocial' seeks to generate strategies for the social appropriation of knowledge and social innovation that promote formalization and socioeconomic inclusion, and allow the knowledge developed in this area (both within this Scientific Ecosystem and in other spaces) to become more relevant in two directions socioeconomic inclusion, and allow the knowledge developed in this area (both within this Scientific Ecosystem and in other spaces), to become more relevant, in two directions: i) the appropriation of this knowledge by the actors in the territories that need to use this knowledge, such as regional public administrations, small entrepreneurs, among others, and who are usually outside the dynamics of knowledge flow. ii) increasing the capacities of the actors of the Science and Technology and Innovation (STI) system to understand the needs, problems and real situations of the actors that develop their social and economic activities in a context of informality, so that the STI actors focus their efforts on co-producing knowledge with these actors, which is relevant to their needs, and which seeks to develop real transformations in the situation of the country.
situation in the country.
The research generated by the projects presented by Alianza EFI will have an impact on society, as long as knowledge and technology transfer takes place, and what is even more important, it will not only be appropriated if it is not generated in a process of co-creation and direct dialogue with the impacted communities. Within the framework of this social innovation project, we propose a pedagogical approach to the communities through living laboratories, dialogues of knowledge, transmedia narratives, among other strategies, in which real problems will be solved.
In this case, the project addresses real problems related to informality and barriers to social and productive inclusion, through science, technology and innovation, with the participation of public and private entities and individuals, so that social research responds, is born and develops hand in hand with the communities.
Throughout the project, and transversally to all its aspects, human resource training will be strengthened through knowledge transfer activities, such as workshops, seminars, creation of courses, presence in community radio stations, among others. These activities seek, on the one hand, to understand informality and mitigate its effects, and on the other hand, to promote IT skills as well as innovation, entrepreneurship and research.
